Other great deals this week . . .

We are on a strict grocery budget, and use Dave Ramsey's "envelope system" for groceries and household items. There is just about $50 left in my envelope until April 2 so I may not buy ALL of these things, but these are the items I'm seriously considering

Sprouts
Strawberries 4lbs for $5!!
All natural boneless skinless chicken breasts $1.97/lb
Spinach--$.88/bunch
Ground sirloin $2.97/lb

Albertson's
Bananas $.39/lb
93% lean ground beef $1.79/lb
Wild Canadian Rockfish $2.99/lb (I'm sad cod is no longer listed for $2.99/lb, but we're going to try this white fish)

Fry's
in addition to what I already mentioned I'll be buying to donate . . ..
Brocoli--$.88/lb

Bashas'
Yoplait yogurt---Bahsas' coupon in ad for 10 for $4 (only good on first 10)--otherwise they are 10 for $5. I am going to buy a total of 12---10 for $4 and then 2 more for $1. (12 for $5) In addition to the Bashas' coupon I will use 2 coupons from the paper for $.40 off of 6. Each coupon will double to take $.80 off. $5-1.60=12 cups for $3.40. Safeway has their Lucerne yougurt on sale this week for $.33ea (3 for $1). 12 cups of the Lucerne yogurt would be $4, so the Yoplait is cheaper. Both the Yoplait and Lucerne are 6oz cups

I've still got a pretty good stockpile of meat, chicken and seafood so I may not buy much of those, but I will be buying the yogurt, fruits, and veggies
