Can't argue with that . . .

My son, who is 3.5 and is fully in the "why" stage of life. A few minutes ago he was in the office with me and saw a picture a friend posted of her son on facebook. My little guy asked "Who is that?". This is how the conversation continued:

Mommy: "It's my friend's little boy"

Son: "What's his name?"

Mommy: [insert boy's name here]

Son: "Why is his name __________?"

Mommy: "Because that's what his Mommy and Daddy named him"

Son: "Why did his Mommy and Daddy name him that?"

Mommy (trying to change the subject): "Why is your name _______?"

Son (very emphatically): "Because that's what Jesus named me"
