My friend, Korri, is the wife of a retired police officer. After the shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School she and her husband felt led to do something to bless the first responders of Newtown, CT and they formed Operation Newtown. Operation Newtown wants to send a gift to every police officer and firefighter in Newtown, CT. Korri has been in touch with the Chief of Police and has his blessing on this project.
My last post was about my Thirty-One business. Yesterday I approached Korri about doing a fundraiser. 100% of my commission (25% of sales) made through the Operation Newtown Fundraiser!! link on my website will go to this group. I am closing the party 1/23/12 and am making Korri the hostess so she'll receive all the hostess incentives.
